Wood Burned Oil Paintings

The life force of the Wood Burned Oil Paintings is undeniably driven by the traditions and legends of Hawaii. The purpose of our work is to honor Hawaiian life, past and present, and preserve the beauty of life in Hawaii. Our goal as artists is to create a reawakening of respect for the tradition of the hula and all aspects of Hawaiian life, by close observation and dedication to the detail of the people, their movement, their life, and Hawaii’s magic.

These are Oil Paintings, with the detail being burned into the wood. The Woods are Hawaiian, mainly Koa and Mango Veneer. The attention to detail and colors are exquisite.
